Where to eat in Andorra
Andorran gastronomy is influenced by the environment, with flavours and products from the mountains. It is also influenced by neighbouring countries, Spain and France.
Andorran cuisine uses seasonal products and is therefore quite seasonal. Seasonal fruits, mushrooms and wild fruits, as well as seasonal fish and game, are used to prepare the dishes.
In Andorra, some of the traditional dishes are escudella, a spoon dish based on pork and seasonal fruits; "trinxat" made with winter cabbage, potatoes, bacon and garlic; Andorran-style cannelloni with a mixture of meats, mushrooms, game and seasonal fish; and "trinxat", a dish made with a mixture of meat and mushrooms.
The great diversity of food and its high quality make Andorran gastronomy a must, and it can be enjoyed at any time of the year.
