Buck Supermoon
Special guided mountain excursion at night to Lake Pessons in Grau Roig.
The Buck Moon is the name that was given by the ancient Native American tribes to the full moon in July. This is one of the largest moons of the year, owing to its proximity to the Earth, and it also coincides with the growth of the antlers on the bucks.
The excursion begins with a trail through a forest of mountain pine. We will make a number of stops in order to observe and identify some of the stars and constellations. Once we reach the first lake at the Pessons cirque, we will stop and wait for the Buck Supermoon to appear, while enjoying a picnic (included).
We will then make our way back down along a broad trail across an open slope.
